The founders also found democracy a threat, as it amounts to nothing more,
or less, than mob rule. The united States of America were established as
independent republics. This is why the constitution in Article IV reads:
Article IV, Section 4.
The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a
republican form of government, and shall protect each of them
against invasion, and on application of the Legislature, or of
the Executive (when the Legislatures cannot be convened), against
domestic violence.
In a democracy, the people or their representatives may pass any law whatsoever
that they deem necessary; thus inevitably the minority will be oppressed by the
majority. In a republic, all law is subject to a higher standard, which
Blackstone's Law Commentaries identifies as "God's Law", and any law that
stands in conflict with this higher Law is null and void. A republic preserves
the biblical concept that the government is a "minister" of God, upholding His
righteous command to punish the evildoer and encourage good works. A democracy
makes the majority "god", capable of determining good and evil by popular opinion.

A Legitimate Question: "Who is really responsible?"
After the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, which killed six and
injured 1,000, President Clinton promised that those responsible
would be hunted down and punished.
After the 1995 bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed five U.S.
military personnel, Clinton promised that those responsible
would be hunted down and punished.
After the 1996 Khobar Towers bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed
19 and injured 200 U.S. military personnel, Clinton promised that
those responsible would be hunted down and punished.
After the 1998 bombing of U.S. embassies in Africa, which killed
224 and injured 5,000, Clinton promised that those responsible
would be hunted down and punished.
After the 2000 bombing of the USS Cole, which killed 17 and injured
39 U. S. sailors, Clinton promised that those responsible would be
hunted down and punished.
It is a recognized fact, that the Taliban is after the decadence
of the West. Bill Clinton flaunted his antics for 10 years. Is
it not a wonder that they would respond? Why did we let him do
it continually? Because the "people" are too stupid.
Maybe if Clinton had kept his promise, an estimated 7,000 people
would be alive today. Who is going to ask him? Will we never
stop suffering for this disgraceful president's actions? Will we
never show our people that this needs rectified? Too many people
still think that Clinton was a great president.
Why is our government so stupid? There are two men, both extremely
wealthy. One develops relatively cheap software and gives hundreds
of millions of dollars to charity.
The other sponsors terrorism. That being the case, why is it that
the US government has spent more money chasing down Bill Gates over
the past ten years than Osama bin Laden?
We need more common sense, and a return to our Constitution and the
traditional moral values of our founding fathers. Education is the
best weapon, and our government has failed miserable in this, their
responsibility. By statistical analysis, more money has resulted
in poorer educational results. Maybe we should give the schools
less money, as our education was better then.
THINK ABOUT IT! It is a strange turn of events. Hillary gets $8 Million
for her forthcoming memoir. Bill gets about $12 Million for his memoir yet
to be written. This from two people who have spent the past 8 years being
unable to recall anything about past events while under oath! Incredible!

Your laws ignore our deepest needs,
Your words are empty air.
You've stripped away our heritage,
You've outlawed simple prayer.
Now gunshots fill our classrooms,
And precious children die.
You seek for answers everywhere,
And ask the question "Why?"
You regulate restrictive laws,
Through legislative creed.
And yet you fail to understand,
That God is what we need!

And last, the Social Security Administration, one of FDR's central
government devices for entrapping a dependent constituency, just
celebrated its 65th anniversary. SSA employees were given small boxes
with stylish memorabilia pins emblazoned with the propaganda casting,
"Social Security, An American Cornerstone." Ironically, the back of
the boxes stated -- more accurately -- "Made in China."

The First Amendment states what it means and means simply what it
states, that Congress shall not establish a religion or prohibit the
free exercise thereof. ...But to construe that to mean that government
should ban all references to religion, all religious expressions, from
all public places is absolute and utter nonsense. I think it is less a
matter of a lack of intelligence on the part of the offending jurists
than a lack of integrity. ... To teach a secular history of the United
States is to teach a false history of the United States. Religion has
played a powerful role in America from its very beginning, and the
historical record is perfectly clear. ... Would a Congress that wrote
the First Amendment call for a national day of prayer but forbid
high-school students from praying at graduation ceremonies or at their
football games? Not hardly. The current hostility toward religion the
federal judiciary is leading is an aberration and totally inconsistent
with the Constitution and the founding of this country.

principles." --Patrick Henry

There is a body of political do-gooders today that have never resisted a
thing. They've never made a single sacrifice. They like to talk about the
issues, but will not jeopardize their comfortable lifestyle to accomplish
an objective. They will do whatever they are told with no concept of
principled conviction. They enjoy engaging in the debate, but there is no
passion in their effort. Worse still, they seemingly don't even understand
the battle, for when they have summarily compromised the substance of the
controversy, they appear joyful and think they have been victorious. When
in fact, they have done nothing more than provide ammunition and weapons
to the enemy.

What is interesting, is this:
IF Clinton had been removed,

was not elected. Hmmmmmmmmm.
"It is a precedent fraught with danger for the country, for when
Congress once begins to stretch its power beyond the limits of

and rigidly observed in all its provisions."

"The right of self-defense is the first law of nature; in most
governments it has been the study of rulers to confine this
right within the narrowest limits possible. Wherever standing
armies are kept up, and when the right of the people to keep

prohibited, liberty, if not already annihilated, is on the
brink of destruction."

"The United Nations gun-grabbers don't care about our Constitution
and they don't care about national sovereignty. The UN always wants
to expand its power, and global gun control goes hand-in-hand
with global government. Every American who cares about the 2nd
Amendment should oppose this latest UN attempt to dictate our
domestic laws. There is no question that the UN ultimately seeks
to impose worldwide gun control, although it has no legal or
moral authority to do so." --Rep. Ron Paul
|
"In 1996, Britain banned handguns; since then, gun crimes have
risen by 40%. ... Australia also passed severe gun restrictions
in 1996 and made it a crime to use a gun defensively. In the
subsequent four years, armed robberies rose 51%, unarmed robberies
by 37%, assaults by 24% and kidnappings by 43%. ... The problem
with these harsh gun laws, experts say, is that they take guns away
from law-abiding citizens, while would-be criminals ignore them,
leaving potential victims defenseless. The U.S. has shown that
making guns more available is actually a better formula for law
and order. ... In the U.S., 33 states have right-to-carry laws.
In those states, deaths and injuries from multiple-victim public
shootings fell on average by 78%." --National Center for Policy

Even better would be the ability to get the "enemy" to support the
