- What Comet? -

Why, it's Hale-Bopp!!!

Look in the sky about 20 degrees above the horizon at least an hour past sunset in the northern sky throughout the month of April to see Comet Hale-Bopp. It will look like a large star or a star with a fuzzy tail. The comet came closest to the earth on March 23, when it was 123 million miles away, and it hasn't been so close in 4,200 years-- since the year 1577.
